HENDLEX CNP is nano ceramic coating, specially designed and tested for airplane canopy. Coating renews the surface, provides high water repellency, less air friction, and easy bugs removal properties, coating is especially sturdy and durable, safe to use and has no side effects for airplane.
This coating can be applied on plastic airplane canopy. CNP nano ceramic coating does not chap in the air even if there is high level of airplane body vibration.

If airplane is waxed, remove wax with HENDLEX Wax Remover. Wash the airplane carefully and make sure there are no washing products (shampoos, dirt, solvents) left on the surface.
For better result it is recommended to coat polished airplane canopy surface. After polishing make sure to wash the airplane canopy. It is recommended to remove the remaining water using the compressed air jet.
It is also recommended to clean the surface with HENDLEX Paint Prepare.
The proper temperature for coating is from +10 °C to +25 °C. Cover the surface evenly and make sure that you did not leave uncovered spots.
If the temperature is lower than +20 °C the surface must be polished in 30 seconds after coverage. If the temperature is higher than +24 °C the surface must be polished in 20 seconds after coating application. If the surface gets into contact with water, immediately clean it and repeat the coating process.
Adhesive tape does not stick on the coated surface. Do not coat CNP ceramic coating on the surface where adhesive tape will be applied.
Recommended coating curing period:
- if the temperature is higher than +22°C – 12 hours initial;
- if the temperature is +20°C – 24 hours initial;
- if the temperature is less than +18°C – need to use IR lamps (+60°C – +80°C) for at least 1 hour.
Do not wash the airplane canopy for 7 days. Depending on the environment temperature, the coating fully hardens in 7 days.
